Noticed three new ones went up near Clifton over about a fortnight, not overnight but close enough. The speed of it was what caught my attention more than anything. Usually you'd see planning notices, temporary fencing, the whole drawn out council process. None of that this time, or at least nothing visible to residents.
Now I'm not saying I know what they're for. Could be the 5G rollout they've been talking about, could be something else entirely. What I find odd is the placement. Two of them are positioned in a triangle pattern around a residential area with a lot of elderly residents. Maybe nothing, maybe coincidence.
Has anyone tried cross-referencing the locations with planning applications on their local council site? Worth doing before jumping to conclusions either way. I spent a couple evenings on Bristol City Council's portal last week and found one application but not the other two. That gap in the paperwork is what actually bothers me most.
