Bit late to this thread but has anyone managed to pull actual radar data from that night? I'm in Essex so obviously wasn't there but I've been following this closely since a mate in Chicago sent me the footage.
What I'm curious about is the formation spacing - in the video it looks almost too precise to be drones, the geometry doesn't drift at all over the full clip. With consumer drones you'd normally see some wobble in a formation that size.
Did anyone file a report with NUFORC or MUFON? Also wondering if there were any scheduled military exercises in that corridor that week, sometimes the FAA NOTAMs can rule out the obvious stuff pretty quickly. Would help narrow it down before jumping to conclusions.
