Anyone else notice the weird lights over Lake Michigan last Thursday night?

Bit of a random one but did anyone manage to get any footage? I've been following a few similar sightings around the Great Lakes area and I'm trying to work out if theres a pattern to the timing or the locations.

I know I'm over in Scotland so I obviously didnt see it myself, but I've got a mate who was staying in Milwaukee last week and he mentioned seeing something odd over the water Thursday night, didnt think much of it at the time. Now I'm wondering if it's connected to what you lot saw.

Were the lights moving in formation or more erratic? And what time roughly - before or after midnight?

@ShropshireOwl the Great Lakes get a surprising amount of UAP activity that barely gets documented properly because theres no centralised reporting system covering that region consistently. NUFORC logs some of it but a lot slips through.

What's the rough timing you're seeing in your data? Late evening, early hours? Because there's a cluster of reports from that area going back to at least 2019 where the sightings tend to bunch around certain weather fronts moving in off the lake. Not saying thats the explanation, just that it keeps coming up when I dig into the reports.

If you haven't already, cross-reference with the NWS radar archives for that night. Sometimes you can rule out atmospheric ducting fairly quickly and then you're left with something more interesting to work with.
