Bit of a long shot but did anyone manage to get any video or photos from that night? I've been trawling through the usual places (YouTube, Reddit UFO subs, etc.) and can't find anything decent. A mate of mine was driving along the lakefront around 11pm and saw something he described as three orange points forming a slow rotating triangle, held position for maybe two minutes then just went. No sound, no trail.
What's bugging me is the rotation. Stationary light formations I can usually work through - chinese lanterns, drones in formation, whatever. But the rotation while maintaining the triangular geometry is the bit that doesn't fit neatly into any of those explanations. Any witnesses on here actually near the lake that night rather than further inland? And does anyone know if there was any scheduled drone activity in that area, I'd genuinely rather rule out the mundane stuff first before jumping to conclusions.
