Not Lake Michigan but I'm genuinely curious about this. I'm over in Warwickshire, UK so obviously I wasn't there, but I've been documenting strange lights in the sky here for about a year now and I've started to wonder if there's any kind of pattern to when these things appear across different locations simultaneously.
So my question is - did the lights move in a straight line or more of an erratic pattern? That seems to be the thing that separates the "probably a drone" sightings from the ones I can't explain when I look back through my photos. The ones I've caught here tend to do this sort of slow drift and then a sharp change of direction, no gradual turn, just instant change.
Also what time roughly? Would be interesting to cross reference with anything logged over here that same night.
