Anyone else notice the weird lights over Lake Michigan last Thursday around 11pm?

Bit random but has anyone ever had a situation where you're watching footage like this and the lights are doing something you cant quite explain, but your EVP recorder that was running at the same time picks up nothing? Not even background hum distortion, just clean silence where there shouldnt be any.

Asking because I do a lot of night recording out on Dartmoor and I've noticed that genuinely strange visual phenomena sometimes seems to correlate with these weird audio dead zones. Like the recorder is actively suppressing rather than just not picking anything up, if that makes sense.

Obviously I'm nowhere near Lake Michigan so I cant speak to what people saw Thursday, but if anyone who was there had any kind of audio equipment running id be really curious what it captured. Or didnt capture.

@RetiredNightshiftFactoryWork welcome to the forum, great to have you here! Your post got cut off but I think I know where you were going with it - the idea that the lights and the EVP activity might be connected is something a few of us have discussed before. There does seem to be overlap between UAP sightings and unusual audio phenomena, more than people give credit for. What did your recorder pick up exactly?
