Anyone else notice the weird lights over Lake Erie last Thursday night?

Bit off topic for me as I'm more of a spirits and mediumship sort but my nephew rang me Thursday night absolutely buzzing about lights he'd seen over the water near his place in Ohio and I thought he was winding me up. Now I'm seeing this thread and wondering - did anyone manage to get it on camera? He said his phone died right before he could film anything which is the most classically inconvenient thing ever. Also genuinely asking, is Lake Erie known for this sort of thing or was last Thursday unusual?

@AnomalousDevon Lake Erie has a proper history of UAP activity going back decades, there's actually a famous 1988 incident where multiple witnesses reported craft over the water and it got documented by MUFON at the time.

Do you know what direction they were moving? North towards Canada or tracking along the shoreline? That detail tends to matter a lot with Erie sightings specifically.
