Never been to the Lemp myself but this is really interesting because olfactory phenomena consistently gets dismissed and it shouldn't be.
Did a spirit box session at a property in Derbyshire last year - old farmhouse, nobody smoked there for decades according to the owners - and we got a strong tobacco smell about 30 seconds before the Ovilus started throwing out names. Happened twice in the same room. My mate who was with me doesn't even believe in any of this and even HE commented on it unprompted.
The smell-before-visual pattern comes up constantly across different locations. I've been reading reports for years and it's one of the more consistent precursor phenomena people document. Whether it's residual energy, an attempt at manifestation, or something else entirely I genuinely don't know.
What I'd want to know about your Lemp experience:
Was the smell localised to a specific room or did it follow you?, Did anyone else present smell it at the same time?, How long between the smell and whatever you subsequently witnessed?
The simultaneous detection point matters a lot. Single-witness olfactory stuff is easy to explain away. Multiple people picking it up independently in the same moment is much harder to dismiss.
Anyone else got location-specific smell-before-event experiences? Feels like there's a pattern worth properly documenting here rather than just anecdotes scattered across threads.
