Been following this for a couple years now actually. The ones that bother me most are the temporary flight restrictions that pop up with almost no advance notice and then disappear just as quietly. The FAA just logs them as "national security" or "special activity" and that's apparently that.
I'm no expert but I do know a bit about reading airspace data from doing aerial photography work and some of these zones don't line up with any known military exercise patterns or scheduled test ranges. Thats the bit that gets me.
What coordinates are you lot tracking exactly? There's a few mapping tools that archive historical TFRs and I think cross-referencing those with any ground level reports from locals in those areas could be interesting. Anyone in Nevada with eyes on the ground worth talking to?
