Anyone else notice poltergeist activity tends to spike during thunderstorms?

Yeah this is something I've been quietly tracking for about three years now. Got a little notebook where I log anything unusual at home and honestly the correlation with storms is striking - not every storm triggers something but the more intense electrical ones almost always coincide with something odd. Doors, mostly. And the dog going absolutely mental at nothing.

My working theory is it's got something to do with electromagnetic field fluctuations. Thunderstorms generate massive EM activity and if you buy into the idea that paranormal phenomena needs some kind of energy source to manifest, well, storms are basically handing it over on a plate.

Could also be infrasound - lightning produces frequencies below human hearing that cause anxiety and unease, so some of what people report might be psychological amplification of normal sounds. I'm genuinely not sure which explanation I prefer.

Anyone else actually logging this stuff systematically rather than just going on gut feeling? Would be interesting to compare notes properly. And does it matter what type of storm - electrical versus just heavy rain?
