Anyone else notice poltergeist activity tends to spike around teenagers in the house?

Yeah this is something I've thought about a lot actually. There's a fairly well known theory that poltergeist activity is tied to emotional energy rather than a specific location, and teenagers are basically walking reservoirs of that stuff. Hormones, stress, suppressed emotions, all of it.

I've read accounts where the activity just stops dead once the teenager in the house moves out or even just goes through a particularly rough patch and then calms down emotionally. That correlation seems too consistent to ignore.

What I find more interesting though is whether the teenager is a trigger or an actual conduit. Like are they attracting an external entity that feeds on that energy, or are they somehow generating the phenomena themselves without knowing it. That distinction matters a lot if you're trying to investigate properly.

Anyone here had direct experience with this? Curious whether the activity felt more like a presence or more like raw environmental disturbance with no real intelligence behind it.
