Would be worth someone actually compiling the dates properly with sources. Not just vague "oh it happened around the same time" but actual timestamps. If theres a real pattern there it deserves proper documentation rather than just speculation, otherwise people will just dismiss it without engaging with the evidence.
Anyone got a good source for historical grid failure records? That'd be the starting point.
