Anyone else notice how every major blackout in the last decade happened right before a big government announcement?

Right so I'll admit this isnt really my usual corner of the forum but this thread caught my eye. I've always been more of an EVP and cryptid person but a few years back there was a massive power cut across a big chunk of Northumberland and the following week there was some announcement about planning permission for a new data facility near where I live. Probably nothing but the timing stuck with me.

I dont want to go full tinfoil hat because I know correlation isnt causation and all that, but when you start noticing a pattern it's hard to unsee it. Has anyone actually mapped out the dates properly? Like put the blackouts next to the announcements on a proper timeline? That would be genuinely interesting to see rather than just going off memory and vibes. Someone with more research skills than me should have a proper go at that.

Not really my area tbh, I'm more into abduction accounts than grid infrastructure stuff. But I will say - in a lot of the cases I've read, witnesses report electrical interference and equipment failures right before encounters, so theres definitely something interesting about mass power disruption and what it might be covering for or coinciding with.
