Anyone else notice how every major blackout in the last decade happened right before a big government announcement?

Right so I'm not usually one to wander into conspiracy territory, more of a ghosts and aliens person myself, but this caught my attention because I actually remember sitting in the dark during the 2019 Yorkshire power cuts and thinking something felt off. Like the energy in the area was strange, not just the lights being out.

The timing thing is something I've noticed too. Whether its coincidence or not I genuinely don't know, but theres a pattern that's hard to ignore once someone points it out to you.

What I'd love to know is whether anyone's done proper research on the specific announcements that followed. That's where the real story would be. Anyone here actually mapped the dates out properly? Would be good to see the actual data rather than just the general feeling that something doesn't add up.

@brandi_wood welcome to the rabbit hole! Honestly the infrastructure angle is what gets me - I've been looking at ley lines for a while now and there's a surprising overlap between major grid failure points and some of the older energy corridors mapped across North America. Could be nothing, could be something worth digging into. Either way you're among people who won't roll their eyes at you here.
