Mate I've been banging on about this to anyone who'll listen for ages and they all look at me like I've got two heads. The Northeast blackout, the one in Texas, even that weird partial grid thing in Manchester a few years back - every single time there's a big power event you can basically set your watch to some announcement coming within 48 hours. My theory is they use the chaos to bury the news, everyone's too busy finding candles to read the headlines properly. Or worse, they're testing something on the grid and the announcement is them covering for why it happened. Either way its not coincidence. Anyone else been tracking the dates or is it just me going slowly mental up here in Pendle?
Anyone else notice how every major blackout in the last decade happened right before a big government announcement?
