Yeah this happened to me constantly in my old flat in Southampton, three knocks every single time which is supposedly the classic "demonic trinity" knocker so cheers for that nightmare fuel.
Ran a spirit box session in the room where it was loudest and picked up what sounded like a woman saying "leave" which, fair enough, I did eventually - moved out six months later.
Surveyors blamed pipes. Pipes don't knock in sets of three at 3am mate, thats not how pipes work.
Anyone else notice a pattern with the number of knocks? I've been trying to catalogue whether theres a correlation between the count and whatever follows after. Would love to compare notes if others have actually logged this properly rather than just screaming and going back to sleep.
