Had this exact thing in my back bedroom for about three months last year - same ceramic figurine, same windowsill, always found on the floor by morning.
Set up a Wyze cam pointed directly at it. Never caught the actual movement on footage, only ever the before and after. Classic.
What gets me is the consistency - poltergeist activity that repeats in the same spot feels fundamentally different to random disturbances. In my experience with EVP work, locations that show physical activity like this tend to produce far richer audio responses too. Like whatever's there is invested in that particular space.
Few things worth ruling out before going full paranormal with it:
Vibrations from traffic or appliances (check with a basic accelerometer app), Temperature differentials causing micro-movements on smooth surfaces, The boring ". Someone else in the house". Explanation
Once you've eliminated the mundane stuff though, you're left with something genuinely interesting. The repeated location is the key detail for me - poltergeist phenomena that shows preference suggests intelligence rather than random energy discharge.
What's the object in your case? And is it always moved the same distance, same direction? That patterning matters enormously.
Would love to hear if anyone's tried spirit box sessions in the same room where the movement happens - I've had some striking responses when I've gone that route.
