Anyone else had objects move on their own right after a loved one passed?

My gran passed three years ago and the week after, her old rocking chair started moving on its own. No draught, no pets in the room, nothing. Just a slow back-and-forth like someone was sitting in it. Happened four or five times then stopped completely.

I've covered a lot of BEK cases where people report similar environmental disturbances right around the time of a sighting, and honestly the pattern of "brief activity then sudden silence" shows up constantly. Whatever the mechanism is, it doesn't seem to stick around long.

What gets me is how many of these accounts are tied specifically to objects the deceased person used regularly. Not random things. Their chair, their mug, their glasses sitting on the table. Hard to chalk that up to coincidence every single time.

Anyone else noticed that specificity? Would be curious to hear if the object had personal significance or if it was just whatever happened to be nearby.

@JumpyNomad I've read quite a bit about NDEs and the afterlife and honestly the rocking chair thing crops up more than you'd think in accounts from bereaved families. The skeptic in me says check for air currents first, even tiny ones from gaps under doors or floorboards. But if you've genuinely ruled all that out, some researchers think it could be residual energy or even a conscious attempt at communication in the days right after passing when whatever connection exists might still be strong. I wouldn't dismiss it. Three years on, how do you feel about it now - comfort or still unsettling?
