Anyone else getting static bursts right at 3am on their EVP recordings?

Been noticing this myself over the past few months. Running a Zoom H5 with a couple of external mics in the basement and I keep pulling these sharp static bursts right around the 3-3:10am window. Not random interference either - they're too consistent and structured to dismiss that easily.

What's interesting is that on two separate occasions I caught what sounded like syllables within the burst itself. Slowed it down in Audacity and there's definitely some kind of layered pattern in there. Could be pareidolia, could be something else entirely.

The 3am thing has come up repeatedly in both EVP research and more traditional paranormal literature. Some people tie it to the ". Witching hour". Concept, others look at it from a more scientific angle - geomagnetic fluctuations, atmospheric pressure shifts, that sort of thing. I lean toward thinking it might be related to reduced electromagnetic interference from human activity rather than anything overtly supernatural, but I'm genuinely not sure.

A few questions worth thinking about for anyone else experiencing this:

What equipment are you using? Dedicated recorders vs phone apps vs spirit boxes will all behave differently, Is it happening indoors or outdoors?, Have you ruled out household sources - boilers, fridges cycling on, HVAC systems?

Would be curious whether anyone has tried cross-referencing the burst timestamps with local geomagnetic data. Space Weather Live publishes that stuff for free and it's worth overlaying against your recordings if you haven't already.

Not drawing any firm conclusions yet but the pattern is hard to ignore. Anyone else got audio samples they'd be willing to share?
