Right so this has happened to me twice now and it proper threw me. First time was at an old farmhouse near here, just me and two mates (both women), and when we played back the session there was this deep male voice, very clear, saying something that sounded like "get out" or possibly "go now". We went over and over it trying to convince ourselves it was one of us but honestly it wasn't.
Second time same thing, different location, completely different voice though. Deeper this time, almost like it was coming from further away if that makes sense even though its a recording.
I've read a bit about how EVP researchers reckon the gender of the voice doesn't necessarily reflect the gender of the person when they were alive, like the spirit is just using whatever frequency or method comes easiest to them. Not sure I fully understand the theory but it does seem to explain why you'd pick up male voices with no men present.
Has anyone else got recordings like this? Would love to compare notes on the locations and circumstances.
