Been reading through the Stanley threads on here for ages and never posted but this one got me. That elevator area genuinely gives me the creeps on a level I can't fully explain technically, which is saying something because I usually try to rationalise everything through equipment first.
I was there last year with my full kit - K2, a full spectrum camera, the lot. Got absolutely nothing concrete on any of it near the elevator but the subjective experience was intense. That low-level dread feeling, almost like infrasound but I didn't have a meter running at the time which I'm kicking myself for now.
What's interesting is a mate of mine who knows nothing about infrasound or environmental causes felt the exact same thing in the same spot completely independently. That kind of corroborating witness experience is what I find more compelling than half the EVP clips people post tbh.
Anyone else been running proper environmental monitoring down there? Would love to compare data rather than just swapping anecdotes.
