Anyone else get a weird feeling near the old mill on Crescent Road?

Been past that spot a few times and yes - there's definitely something there. That particular stretch near the old millrace gives me a distinct pressure sensation behind the eyes, which in my experience tends to indicate residual energy rather than an active presence. Residual hauntings don't interact, they just bleed through.

I ran a quick spirit box session there last autumn using my Uniden BC125AT paired with a Zoom H5 for clean audio capture. Got some fragmented responses in the 87–90 MHz sweep range - nothing I'd stake my reputation on, but enough to warrant a proper overnight investigation.

The mill itself dates back to the 1840s I believe, which means we're potentially looking at industrial-era trauma - accidents, long hours, child labour. That kind of sustained suffering tends to leave impressions.

A few things worth noting for anyone planning a visit:

Temperature drops on the eastern wall near what used to be the grain store, The millrace side seems notably more active than the road-facing aspect, Mobile signals drop inconsistently even with full bars - worth monitoring

Has anyone done any historical digging on the site? Knowing whether there were recorded deaths or significant structural events can really help contextualise what you're picking up rather than just throwing EMF readings at the wall.

Would genuinely be interested in organising a group session if there's enough local interest - Yorkshire's got no shortage of investigators and a second pair of ears on any EVP captures would be useful.
