Never been to that specific place but the east wing thing is interesting - do you know what the building was actually used for before it closed? Because I've found that the history of specific wings or wards makes a massive difference to what you pick up there. Some parts of these old asylums were used for more "experimental" treatments and the energy in those sections tends to be noticeably different, more agitated I suppose.
What exactly felt off to you? Like a pressure thing, temperature drops, or more of a psychological unease where you couldn't really put your finger on it? I ask because those tend to point toward different explanations and I'm curious whether others who've visited report the same thing in the same spot or if it varies person to person.
