Never been to that particular place but the east wing thing is really interesting to me. In my experience its almost always one specific section of a building that seems to hold the energy, and it tends to correlate with where the most distressing events happened - prolonged confinement, that sort of thing.
Did you get any temperature drops or just more of a psychological heaviness? I ask because I've found those two things often point to different types of presence. The heavy feeling with no real cold spots makes me wonder about residual versus intelligent haunting.
Anyone else noticed that old medical buildings in general seem to carry something different to other locations? I've been to a few derelict asylums over here near Pendle and there's definitely a distinct atmosphere compared to say a country house.
