Never been to that specific one but the "east wing feeling" is incredibly common with old asylum buildings, there's something about the layout of them, long corridors, lots of small rooms, that just does something to your head even before you factor in whatever might actually be there.
That said I'd love to hear more detail about what you experienced. Was this a solo visit or did you go with others? And did anyone else in your group feel it or was it just you? That bit matters a lot to me because if multiple unconnected people are picking up the same thing in the same spot thats where it gets genuinely interesting rather than just atmosphere and nerves.
Has anyone done a spirit box session in there? I've been wanting to get to somewhere like this with mine but Ohio is a bit of a trek from Sussex.
