Yeah this has been happening to me for about two years now, started noticing a pattern out on the Pendle sites. Every decent EVP I've captured has had this weird burst of static maybe 3-5 seconds before the voice comes through, almost like something is warming up or tuning in. My mate thinks its just interference but it's too consistent to be random.
Does anyone know if there's a frequency link? I've been wondering if the static is actually part of the same phenomenon rather than separate from it, like maybe whatever is producing the EVP is displacing something in the electromagnetic field first. Would make sense with what we know about how these entities seem to interact with energy.
Anyone run a spectrum analyser alongside their recorder to catch what's happening in that window? Genuinely curious if others are documenting this the same way or just dismissing the static as noise.
