Mate yes, had this exact thing happen about three months ago in an old farmhouse up near Alnwick. Asked out loud "is anyone here with us tonight" and the playback had this really clear response that sounded like "we're waiting" which absolutely sent me.
The thing is tho, its easy to dismiss it as apophenia or whatever the sceptics call it, your brain filling in the blanks. But when the answer is contextually relevant like that it gets harder to write off. Had a few where the response makes no sense at all, which honestly I find less convincing than the ones that directly answer.
Anyone else noticed the "nonsense" EVPs feel less genuine than the ones that actually respond properly? Feels backwards but theres something to it I reckon.
