Yeah this has been happening to me more lately actually. Did a session at an old farmhouse near Chelmsford last month and asked "how did you die" and got back something that sounded like "the water" really clearly. Sent shivers down me.
What gets me is the response time thing - like sometimes it comes back almost instantly, before I've even finished asking. Don't know what to make of that. Either the entity knows what you're gonna say before you say it or theres some kind of time thing going on with how they perceive things.
Anyone using a specific recorder for this? I've been on a basic Olympus digital one for ages and wondering if its worth upgrading. Some of the lads on YouTube swear by the older analogue stuff for picking up clearer responses but I'm not sure I buy that.
Would love to hear other peoples experiences with direct responses, especially if you caught anything that referenced something the entity couldn't have "guessed" - those are the ones that really make you think.
