Right so I've only done maybe a dozen spirit box sessions total so take this with a grain of salt, but I did notice my two clearest responses ever both happened within a day or two of a full moon. Could be coincidence, probably is, but it stuck in my head.
The theory I keep seeing is something about lunar gravity affecting electromagnetic fields or water content in the atmosphere and somehow that creates better conditions for EVP capture. Honestly I don't fully understand the physics of it and I'm not going to pretend I do. Anyone here actually tested this properly over multiple sessions rather than just noticing it after the fact? Because confirmation bias is absolutely a thing in this hobby and I'd rather someone tell me I'm reading patterns into noise than have me waste three months chasing the moon cycle.
Also genuinely curious whether people are seeing this with spirit boxes specifically or with traditional EVP recording too because I suspect they might behave differently.
